A law firm in Roseland, NJ is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of workers' compensation claims involving high exposure and complex litigation.Job Duties:Litigate workers' compensation claims from inception through resolutionHandle a variety of high-exposure, complex litigation mattersConduct legal research and analysis related to workers' compensation laws and regulationsDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documentsCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjustersAttend hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedingsDevelop case management skills to effectively manage casesProvide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding workers' compensation claimsCollaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and managementMaintain accurate and organized case files and recordsRequirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the State Bar of New Jersey1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in workers' compensationStrong analytical, writing, research, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsSkills:Proficiency in legal research and writingStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and advocacy skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesCollaborative and team-oriented mindset
