The successful candidate will play a crucial role in litigating a variety of workers' compensation claims, focusing on high-exposure and complex litigation. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in managing cases from inception through resolution, requiring strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.Responsibilities:
Litigate a variety of workers' compensation claims involving high-exposure and complex litigation.Develop skills to manage a case from inception through resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis on complex workers' compensation issues.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on workers' compensation matters.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.Attend court hearings, depositions, and conferences related to workers' compensation claims.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.Stay informed about changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.Assist in developing case strategies and legal arguments.Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar.1-4 years of litigation experience.Skills:
Strong analytical skills for assessing complex workers' compensation issues.Excellent writing skills for the preparation of legal documents.Proficient in legal research and analysis.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
