LHH is looking for a Mid-Level Litigation Paralegal (IP Litigation Preferred) for a firm in Chicago. This Paralegal will support our Intellectual Property (IP) Group in the Chicago office. This is a hybrid role, ideal for candidates with 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in IP litigation, who can handle case management from inception to trial. The role offers a competitive salary of $76,000 to $99,000, with bonus potential between $10k to $20k annually and an annual billable hour target of 1600.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with attorneys to manage complex litigation cases.Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.Conduct legal research and assist with trial preparation and logistics.Maintain case files and calendars to ensure deadlines are met.Assist in document management and e-discovery processes, utilizing tools like Relativity and PACER.Provide on-site trial support, including managing exhibits and coordinating logistics.
Requirements:
5+ years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for IP litigation experience.Familiarity with Federal Courts, Section 337 hearings, and IPR matters.Proficiency in legal research, document management, and filing systems.Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
This position is hybrid but may require more in-office time during the onboarding period. The firm offers a dynamic work environment, with opportunities to be involved in high-stakes litigation and multiple trials per year.
Pay Details:
$76,000.00 to $99,000.00 per year
