Responsible for directing the corporate accounting & finance teams as well as the consolidated financial statements. Report on current corporate business performance including comparisons versus forecast, budget and last year. Lead the corporate budget and forecasting process. Be a functional expert for SAP corporately and assist with plant implementation as required.
TRAVEL
Minimal travel to manufacturing locations as required to meet the requirements of the job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare the company's Annual Report, including financial footnotes, ensuring compliance with GAAP.Lead the external audit and tax processes, assuring compliance.Leadership and development of the Corporate Finance & Accounting staffs. Functional areas include accounts receivable, accounts payable, corporate accounting, cost accounting, financial statement preparation, treasury management, data analysis, and employee payroll.Establishing and assuring compliance with internal accounting policies and controls to safeguard cooperative assets.Consolidation of the annual budget and responsibility for the corporate budget.Coordinating all treasury functions including establishing and maintaining banking relations, maintaining security protocols, sufficient liquidity and fee minimization.Advising the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Team, and Management on setting and achieving financial objectives and provide insights on enhancing financial performance and business opportunities.Lead efforts in discovering new opportunities to optimize the accounting processes, and partner with other departments to execute these new processes.Partner with various business area owners (cost center managers) to determine and meet their reporting and analytics needs based upon prioritization and direction from the CFO.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage direct team of 5-7 employees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required.CPA, CMA or MBA PreferredMinimum of 10 years' experience in accounting, reporting, consolidation and financial analysis.Experience in food & beverage industry a plus.Accounting/GAAP knowledge.ERP experience required, SAP experience a plus.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills.High-energy, self-motivated individual with strong technical and analytical skills.Ability to complete projects timely and accurately.Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to present quantitative data utilizing an electronic spreadsheet calculation.Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situation
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
