This position is accountable for implementing and controlling the procurement of raw materials, containers, cartons, and related packaging supplies on time and at the best price. This role maintains an uninterrupted flow of production and keeps appropriate inventory levels while attaining plant inventory and production efficiency goals.

1st Shift Monday - Friday

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Plan and purchase raw and packaging components for the manufacturing facilityExpedite/de-expedite components based on inventory levels and production schedulesAnalyze label requirements and take necessary action to ensure labels coordinate with batch shipmentReview MRP (Material Resource Planning) daily for unusual production to determine inventory levelsCoordinate with Production, Receiving, and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepanciesAssist with production schedulingEnforce terms and conditions of purchase orders, compliance with legal requirements, and Company policy

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have a bachelor's degree or higher or have at least four (4) years of work experience in a Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations roleMust have at least one (1) year of work experience in a Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations role or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in an operations or supply chain functionPreferred Qualifications:

Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or BusinessHave completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.Have prior work experience using MRP (Material Resource Planning) and MPS (Material Production Scheduling) systemsHave prior work experience in procurement, buying, and/or schedulingHave at least one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facilityPrior work experience using planning software such as QAD, Oracle, or SAP
