Associate General Counsel

A rapidly growing real estate brokerage and property management company is looking to add an Associate General Counsel to the legal team to support their commercial real estate transactional docket and oversee legal aspects of real estate transactions.Responsibilities:Draft, review and negotiate agreements for the acquisition and disposition of real property from LOI through closing documentsManage and coordinate all aspects of the transaction and closing process, including drafting and negotiation of brokerage agreements, confidentiality agreements, letters of intent, access agreements, purchase and sale agreementsHandle all aspects of title and survey reviewReview and negotiate documents relating to real estate finance transactions from term sheet through closingDraft, review and negotiate commercial leases and related documentsProvide support on various redevelopment projectsQualifications:JD and in good standing in at least one state5+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience in all areas including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and leasingAbility to independently, and on a “first-chair” basis, structure, draft, negotiate, manage and close commercial real estate acquisition, disposition, and financing transactions
