A law firm specializing in professional liability defense seeks a motivated and detail-oriented attorney to join our team in Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a passion for handling a variety of professional liability cases, including attorney malpractice, broker errors and omissions, and accountant malpractice.Job Duties:Provide legal representation to clients in professional liability defense matters.Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues related to professional liability claims.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Manage discovery and participate in deposition and trial preparation.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New Jersey State Bar; additional admissions in neighboring states a plus.1-3 years of experience practicing law, preferably focusing on professional liability defense or related fields.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent writing, research, and oral communication abilities.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Preferred Certifications:Certification in professional liability or related practice areas.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload efficiently.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
