DescriptionSAIC is looking for a talented Enterprise Architect to join our ABMS Family of Systems as part of the Air Force Combatant Command Business Group to spearhead alignment for technology road map development and strategic planning. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in Enterprise Architecture development, IRAD investment planning, Systems Development Life Cycle Management (SDLCM), Agile, software modeling, and business process reengineering. Provides advice and guidance regarding the design, development, operation, and support of complex command and control systems. Design and implement features in collaboration with team engineers, product owners, data analysts, and business partners using Agile/Scrum methodology. This is a full-time position located in either San Diego, CA or Arlington, VA. Hybrid/Remote Negotiable.Frequent interaction with internal stakeholders, government, SETA, FFRDC, and other external stakeholdersIdentify and define future CJADC2 capability needsIdentify key architecture and system level tradesDevelop strategies in support of Department of Defense (DoD) architecturesAssess the performance of current and future architecture conceptsProvide technical and programmatic guidance to the architecture and system level requirements processDevelop architecture models to capture the holistic view of the enterprisePrepare briefings for senior decision makersFacilitate multi-stakeholder summits, workshops, and technical exchanges between senior government leadership, management teams, and technical teams for national space programs to achieve alignment in program strategic vision and direction, capability management, mission organization design, and solution architecture concept developmentDevelop and integrate analytical methods and tools to evaluate program and mission strategic concepts to influence solution conceptual designs for cost, schedule, performance, risk, and resilience to disruptive events or threatsAdvise on enterprise architecture landscape, including technology, information, data, security, and integrationDevelop technology strategy and planning deliverables to address risks and technology gapsFormulate enterprise architecture solution strategies and roadmapsQualificationsUS Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance.TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.Expert-level understanding of core systems engineering and analysis disciplines and processesExpert-level proficiency with the use of architecting to support senior level enterprise decision makingExpert in enterprise architecture, strategy development, and enterprise solutionsExperience with DoD customer's Request for Change (RFC) process and the Engineering Review Board processExperience in Cameo and SysML applicationsExperience integrating enterprise architecting tools with MODSIM analysisSubstantive experience in the space, intelligence, and/or defense domainsExperience working closely with key customer agencies in the defense and intelligence community, including strong knowledge of their domain and strong professional networksDemonstrated knowledge of implementing an Enterprise Architecture framework in a federal Agency/DepartmentPrior US military and/or IC customer experience preferred
