In this role, you will serve as an experienced individual contributor within a team, with the expectation that you will further develop your leadership, guidance and mentoring skills. With minimal oversight from leadership, you will be responsible for HR operations, supporting and leading effective HR initiatives, and ensuring adherence to organizational processes and policies. A Senior Human Resources Business Partner impacts the long-term goals of the department by providing strategic recommendations in support of operational efficiencies and compliance. You may serve as the primary lead when working with stakeholders and utilize strong influential skills to drive consensus and assignments to closure. Primary expectations of a Senior Human Resources Business Partner include:Supports assigned business units or by promoting, communicating, and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives.Provides guidance on employment law, coordinates performance management, and resolves employee relations issues utilizing HR best practices to ensure legally compliant, fair and timely resolutions.Serves as a trusted strategic advisor for HR-related topics such as compensation, benefits, leave administration, employment law, and employee relations best practices.Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of DOL, OFCCP and FAR government contracting requirements.Proactively seeks to resolve HR-related issues and concerns.Supports fair and equitable hiring practices in support of adhering to compliance requirements.Conducts work assignments as directed; may direct assignments of junior level HR team members.Conducts weekly 1:1's with Business Unit leaders, acting as a trusted partner, confidant, and coach.Promote a positive employer-team member relationship while keeping a pulse on the morale and engagement levels of team members across the Business Units.Reviews, attends, and participates in employee discussions, disciplinary meetings and terminations.Leads and balances multiple HR related projects working across multiple deadlines, develops processes, procedures, and SOPs.Partner with Business Units to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and other government regulations.Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies, to enable growth, champion our culture, values and commitment to our team members while increasing retention.Provide recommendations regarding new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements for greater efficiency.Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in an HRBP capacity, Sr. HRBP capacity, HR Manager capacity or higher.8+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an HRBP capacity, Sr. HRBP capacity, HR Manager capacity or higher.Exposure to ATS and HRIS systems.Exhibits an in-depth knowledge of HR competencies, employment law, performance management, and employee relations principles.Project lead or Project management experience required.Able to work Eastern Standard Time zone hours starting no later than 9:00 am EST.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Remote HR experience.Requires personal computer operations (PC/MS) and various program applications; basic bookkeeping; negotiation techniques; some basic mathematics.Must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams which include: executive leadership, department leaders, coworkers; as well as external stakeholders.Ability to work independently.Ability to balance heavy workloads, high stress, and difficult situations in an effective and professional manner.Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to obtain/maintain at least one of the following: SHRM, PHR, SPHR, AIHR, CPLP.Implementation of HR related services or systems.Experience with leave systems and processes.To learn more about working at Ad Hoc, please visit:

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and responsibility. The range of starting pay for this role is $101,000 - $125,000.
