We are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team in West Chester, PA. This position requires expertise in applying coatings to various surfaces and materials used in industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.
- Paint Application: Apply industrial coatings using spray guns, brushes, and rollers to ensure an even and durable finish.
- Quality Control: Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean painting equipment and ensure it is in proper working order.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects.
- Experience: Proven experience in industrial painting, particularly in the aerospace or automotive industries. Candidates with only residential or commercial painting experience will not be considered.
- Skills: Proficiency in using various painting tools and equipment, including spray guns and sandblasters.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Competitive pay rate of $20 - $30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Stable 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
