We are looking for a Finance and Planning Manager to join our Distribution teams located in Fontana and Santa Clarita, CA. In this role, you will partner with business leaders across the Distribution business in sales, operations, and supply chain driving operational excellence using problem solving, financial and analytical skills. Our focus is to move beyond finance and planning, providing the right level of information and decision making to execute business strategy and ensure top quartile performance.
In this role, your essential functions will be to:
Support warehouse, transportation, and sales teams to deliver sustainable top quartile resultsAccountable for all financial aspects for the sites. This includes but is not limited to monthly reporting, annual planning, and capital analysisOwns and monitors internal control environment to ensure it is operating effectivelyActively involved in strategic discussions and ad-hoc coaching sessions with site lead teamUnderstands complex concepts and knows how to communicate a simple messageUses business knowledge, data, and analysis to identify and share opportunitiesProactively provides meaningful information that highlights the "so what" to support decision makingInquisitive, curious, and focused on details to identify anomalies and opportunities
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or financeFive years of experience in financial or manufacturing operations.Comfortable working with sales, operations, finance, and accounting teamsStrong communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage changeWorking knowledge of cost accounting, financial systems, and internal controlsStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Account PrinciplesExcellent PC skills. Specifically, strong Excel userWhat We Offer:
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $94,977-$142,465 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 10% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
