We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and highly motivated HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner in driving the company's mission and vision, fostering an environment that promotes growth and development. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a diverse role, where you will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  2. Administer benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  3. Handle employee relations, including managing complex and difficult employee relations cases, providing advice and guidance on disciplinary matters, and resolving grievances.
  4. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
  5. Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee performance and retention.
  6. Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to meet organizational needs and comply with state and federal laws.
  7. Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, conduct new-employee orientations, and oversee exit interviewing process.
  8. Maintain a positive work environment by resolving conflicts and fostering a collaborative culture.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' progressive Recruiting and Human Resources experience, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
  3. Proven experience in managing payroll and benefits administration.
  4. Proficient in HRIS and payroll software.
  5. Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  10. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is a plus.
