We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and highly motivated HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner in driving the company's mission and vision, fostering an environment that promotes growth and development. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a diverse role, where you will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Administer benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
- Handle employee relations, including managing complex and difficult employee relations cases, providing advice and guidance on disciplinary matters, and resolving grievances.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee performance and retention.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to meet organizational needs and comply with state and federal laws.
- Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, conduct new-employee orientations, and oversee exit interviewing process.
- Maintain a positive work environment by resolving conflicts and fostering a collaborative culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' progressive Recruiting and Human Resources experience, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing payroll and benefits administration.
- Proficient in HRIS and payroll software.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is a plus.
