Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Content Marketing Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of content marketing best practices, and experience in creating content that resonates with a specific audience. The ideal candidate is a creative, energetic professional who can collaborate across teams to produce high-quality content that drives brand awareness, generates leads, and supports our overall marketing goals.Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with business objectives and target audience needs.Create, manage, and optimize high-quality content across various channels, including blog posts, articles, case studies, whitepapers, infographics, and social media.Collaborate closely with product marketers and growth marketers to build content throughout product journeys, ensuring alignment with demand generation goals.Leverage data-driven insights to identify content gaps, optimize existing content, and create new content that resonates with our target audience.Assist with keyword research to optimize content for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive traffic.Provide content for the email marketing team - both newsletters and journeys.Provide content for organic and paid social media posts.Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new content opportunities.Utilize AI and machine learning tools to enhance content creation, personalization, and distribution efforts.Measure and analyze content performance using key metrics such as website traffic, engagement rates, lead generation, and conversion rates throughout the buying cycle.Use data-driven insights to optimize content strategy and improve overall marketing effectiveness.Manage the content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of content across all platforms.Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience.Requirements and Preferred Experience:

4+ years of professional experience as a content marketer or writer required, for a technology company preferred.Strong understanding of SEO, content distribution, and digital marketing best practices.Experience working with product marketers and growth/performance marketers.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to turn complex topics into engaging content.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Passion for researching, understanding, and writing about emerging technologies.Experience with content management systems (WordPress), marketing automation tools (Marketo), and analytics platforms.On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate's geographical location.What makes OpenGov unique
