Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Medical Malpractice, or Toxic Tort litigation , then we’d love to hear from you!As an Attorney in the
Emeryville, CA office , you will learn all aspects of asbestos/civil litigation/complex litigation and have the support and mentorship to become an expert in this focus area. A successful candidate should be a quick study as you will need to become familiar with various sources of asbestos exposure and the basic medical terminology associated with mesothelioma. You will be responsible for case investigation, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, document review, drafting and arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial.Qualifications:J.D. from ABA accredited institutionCalifornia State bar license, or eligibility for reciprocityIdeally have some trial, research and writing, Civil/Complex litigation and deposition experienceStrong academic recordExcellent legal research and writing abilitiesAbility to cultivate and maintain strong client relationshipsWillingness to travel frequentlyAbility to work as an individual and as a part of a team on behalf of injured clientsStrong organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritiseAbility to work under a deadline in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to plaintiff workPersonality and a commitment to mission is an important factor (plaintiff, asbestos/mesothelioma, non-profit, judicial clerkship, criminal defence (plaintiff), etc.)Preferred Experience:If not, someone with
