Project Accountant

Our client in the North Dallas area is seeking a Project Accountant to join their Project Accounting team!

The Project Accountant will have experience in the following:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain project accounting for a portfolio of construction projects
• Prepare and process AIA billings and project contracts
• Track project costs and perform job costing
• Managed progress payments and process invoices
• Handle month-end close with GL maintenance
• Foster and maintain communications with project managers, and other internal or external relations

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Project Accounting experience, preferable in Construction Industry
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required (pivot tables, vlookups, xlookups, etc.)
