The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare's Division of Welfare is excited to announce a TEFAP Program Specialist - DHWposition located in theBoiseoffice. The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a statewide program that helps supplement the diets of low-income Americans by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost. This position will specialize in emergency food assistance program and policy design, business process and procedure development, budgeting, and program documentation. We are seeking a candidate who has critical thinking skills, developed interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, problem solving abilities, and process and management analysis skills. This position will involve statewide travel. Candidates must be willing and able to travel for stays longer than one night. This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation. This announcement will be used to fill the current vacancy only.
