We're currently seeking General Practice Dentists to provide services at, one of Portsmouth Naval Medical Station ' s multiple facilities . The main Portsmouth base is located at: 1647 Admiral Taussig Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23511

POSITION DETAILS:LOCATION : NMC Portsmouth - 1647 Admiral Taussig Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23511 (Main Location - other facilities are located in: _VA- 23511, 23708, 23459, 23460, & 23322)__Desired facility will not be selected before pre-hire process is completed. Facility transfer requests will be accepted on a first come first serve basis._SCHEDULE: Mon - Thu: 8hrs shifts between 6:00am - 6:00pm (+ 30 min lunch break) & Fridays from 6:00am - 1:00pm (no lunch break)BENEFITS : 11 Paid Holiday Off Days + 10 PTO Days + 56 Hrs of Sick LeavePAY PACKAGES:OPTION (W-2): _ $ _ 76.88/hr + AMG Insurance Coverage + Full BenefitsOPTION (1099): $92.50/hr NO AMG COVERAGE + NO BENEFITS
DENTIST JOB REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED ITEMSUPDATED RESUME : Must have at least 1yr of relevant recent work exp (Some candidates may require 3+ yrs)DMD/DDS DEGREE : Must provide diploma showing successful curriculum/program completion of DMD or DDS degreeEDU REQ : Must be graduate of accredited dental school approved by CODA or ADAWORK EXP REQ : 1+ yrs of full-time Dentist work exp POST graduate/residency programBLS CERT : Must provide a non-expired Basic Life Support cert (Issued by AHA or ARC only)BOARD ELIGIBILITY : Must be board eligible. Active board certification highly preferred
