Job DetailsPosition: Plant Manager
As Plant Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive operation of production lines associated with a designated production line, ensuring continuous 24/7 management through effective leadership and streamlined shift operations. Your goal is to optimize production performance within established safety, quality, and cost standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead furnace operations to achieve critical performance objectives, including Safety, Quality, Cost Efficiency, ----Productivity, and Operational Flexibility.
- Foster a culture of Manufacturing Excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in management and continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong collaborative skills with a focus on team engagement and employee involvement.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor staff, and effectively manage personnel-related matters.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly.
- Competency in information systems and data analysis.
- Prior experience in the glass manufacturing industry is essential.
- Education and Experience:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Production/Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in supervising or leading teams and processes in a manufacturing environment is necessary.
- Previous experience in the glass manufacturing sector is mandatory.
