Salary: $135,000 - $165,000 per year

Job Details

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing water and wastewater projects of varying complexity, ensuring they are delivered to both internal and external stakeholders in line with the agreed scope, schedule, and budget. This role also involves collaborating with the Department Director on various business development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical resource for projects and new proposal development.
  • Lead inter-disciplinary coordination, both within and outside the department, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Execute designs with the necessary level of detail, prioritizing risk minimization for the firm.
  • Serve as a client service manager, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and cultivating new ones.
  • Support the Department Director with department operations and broader business initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university; a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • 10-14 years of experience working with municipal clients, providing planning, consulting, design, and construction services across a range of areas, including water and wastewater planning and design.
  • Proficiency in stormwater design is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Proven track record in successful project management, client engagement, and staff development.
  • Experience in business development, including crafting proposals, defining scopes of work, and preparing project budgets.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
