Mechanic Assistant Bilingual Preferred

Job Duties Include:

Cleans, inspects, and/or lubricates recyclable sorting equipment or performs routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment, such as star gears, finger sorters, de-stoners, belts, grinders, conveyors, screens, gear drives, and bearings.
Cleans, inspects, and/or lubricates recyclable sorting equipment and/or performs routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment.
May assist in the response to calls for emergency repairs.
Performs routine maintenance and repair work.
Maintains various activity records and logs of supplies and equipment used.
Performs preventive maintenance checks as scheduled.
Assists journey-level mechanics in the installation, maintenance, and repair of recycling mechanical
equipment and systems, conveyors, screens, sorters, gear drives, and bearings.
Reports to Plant Maintenance Manager.

Requirements:

Previous Mechanical experience or knowledge of
Welding, hydraulics or electrical experience is a plus.

Bilingual Preferred

Monday - Friday

8am-5pm

(*Training done from 5am-1:30pm)

21.00-23.00/hr DOE - weekly pay
