The client is currently seeking a VP of Financial Planning & Analysis, reporting directly to the CFO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate and business finance in a SaaS/Software organization and will personify the values and mission of the company. In addition, we are looking for an inspirational leader who conveys the energy and credibility to accomplish our goals and the experience to lead and mentor a rapidly growing enterprise.This role requires an in-depth FP&A background with a demonstrated track record of compiling information from a variety of departments to build a complete picture of where the business is both on a revenue and cost basis, leading the combined teams to provide deep insights to enable business decisions. This individual will serve as a key member of the finance team and drive all strategic planning, financial planning, business modeling, forecasting and management reporting activities in partnership with the CFO, CEO and executive leadership team.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and manage all Global FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysisPartner closely with CFO and CEO to develop and maintain the company's financial narrative and communicate across multiple forumsResponsible for preparing board materials on a regular cadence including results consolidation, presentations, M&A modeling, and ad hoc analysisDefine and measure top level metrics, report results, and analyze key business metrics including but not limited to bookings (in partnership with sales operations), ARR, churn, and P&L resultsSupport product organizations to drive long-term growth and margin productivityWork across sales and marketing teams globally on an ongoing basis to establish operating targets, increase expense leverage, optimize marketing ROIs and increase sales productivityDevelop a strong bench of FP&A talent within team and promote within and across the company over timeREQUIREMENTS:12+ years of relevant experience in FP&A or related financial analyst rolesTrack record of success in providing strategic insights in a complex tech environmentDeep financial and business acumen combined with strong analytical skills to drive financial outcomes in a SaaS company/industry.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in interactions with internal teams, executive leadership, and board of directorsExperience with budgeting, planning, consolidation, and reporting/business intelligence systemsExperience in cyber industry is a plus but not required; strongly prefer candidates with software tech/SaaS experienceExperience working in VC/PE-backed hypergrowth companies is preferred but not mandatoryProject management capabilities and cross-functional coordination skills, particularly for complex business systems projectsAvailability for occasional travel for critical meeting or other internal leadership eventsDeWinter Group and Maris Consulting is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
