Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting AP Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
  2. Assisting in the month-end closing process, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  3. Reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  4. Resolving invoice discrepancies and issues.
  5. Maintaining vendor files and correspondences with vendors.
  6. Assisting with other accounting projects as needed.
  7. Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Consulting AP Specialist position will have the following qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
  4. Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
  5. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  8. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
