Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years required, 1 year of cardiac telemetry experience License: Valid WA RN or Compact RN license Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: - Willingness to float between units as needed- References covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years Job Description: - Work in a 32-bed cardiac telemetry unit.- Care for patients with cardiac and medical needs, including arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, post-cardiovascular procedures such as stent placement, pacemaker, and AICD implantations, and post open-heart surgery.- Manage patient ratios of 1:5-6 with CNA assistance.- Utilize EPIC for charting.- Participate in a 40-hour orientation and complete required modules (average 16 hours).- Work commitment includes 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day).- Be prepared to float within the hospital or to nearby sister hospitals if needed.
