Registered Nurse - NICU @ Providence Saint Jude Medical Center

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State of CA license must be in hand Certifications: BCLS, NRP Must-Have: - Ability to float between like units, including mother baby unit - Commitment to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) - Minimum of 1 year of employment covered by references within the last 3 years Job Description: - Provide comprehensive care to neonatal patients in a NICU setting. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3. - Collaborate and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. - Participate and adapt to a block schedule as per manager discretion. - Attend a mandatory 40-hour orientation. - Wear royal blue scrubs as designated for the RN role. - Use Meditech for charting patient care. - Ensure compliance with COVID-19 vaccine requirements; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed. - All travelers expected to float between all facilities within a given state. - Responsible for own communication device unless provided by the facility; reimbursement up to a specified monthly amount if not supplied.
