Senior Analyst, Appliance Customer Experience

Position Purpose:

The Sr. Analyst role plays a critical role in removing friction points from the customer shopping experience and the store associate selling experience for Appliances. This role will work cross-functionally and externally with supplier partners to analyze data, generate/communicate insights, track/root cause customer issues, and develop solutions to reduce total returns and improve overall customer satisfaction. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must. This role requires a proficiency in running data queries (preferably with Google BigQuery or SQL) and the ability to visualize data preferably within Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:50% Lead all phases of a project's life cycle including defining the business need, establishing criteria and business requirements, understanding the impact to the business and designing and rolling out the project25% Serve as a subject matter expert and perform research and/or analysis within assigned projects or category of business25% Establish and report on metrics of assigned projects or categories to gauge business valueDirect Manager/Direct Reports:

Reports to Manager/Sr. ManagerNo associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the technical leadership of a project work team: may select team members and assess capabilities, provide technical training, provide information necessary to meet work, project or program objectives, evaluate program or project performance.Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.Working Conditions:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Minimum Qualifications:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Preferred Qualifications:

Candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data and communicate findings to multiple stakeholders.Proficient utilizing statistical techniques to identify key insights that help solve business problemsProficient running queries against data (preferably with Google BigQuery or SQL)Proficient with data visualization software (preferably Tableau)Prior experience in the application of research findings to the retail environment, brand management or category management essentialMinimum Education:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.Minimum Years of Work Experience:
