Acquisitions Associate/AnalystThe Company:

The Albanese Organization (“Albanese” or “Company”) is a 75 year, privately held, full-service real estate firm dedicated to creating commercial and residential buildings of distinction, quality and architectural merit that optimize value, are environmentally responsible, and enhance the communities in which they are located. Albanese has an extensive track record of partnering with institutional investors to acquire and/or develop over 7 million square feet of commercial real estate, including multifamily (rental and for-sale), office, hotel, and retail properties.The Role:

Albanese is looking to add an Associate or Analyst (“Candidate”) based in New York, NY to its growing Acquisitions team. The position, reporting directly to the vice presidents and senior partners, will assist in various phases of the real estate acquisitions, development, and capital markets process. The Candidate will play a crucial role on the deals currently in the Albanese pipeline as well as working with the team to identify new deals and strategies for the Company to pursue.Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Prepare detailed Excel and Argus financial underwriting models for ground-up development and value-add real estate acquisitions.Author internal and external investment memoranda summarizing financial analysis and market research used to evaluate investment opportunities.Support all due diligence efforts and transaction closing.Assist with arranging debt and equity financingParticipate in the entitlement process as well as the preparation of pre-development and development budgets, along with schedules for proposed projects.Collaborate on project design including working with the project and design architects, interior designers, site planners, and other professionals and consultants.Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the role will possess the following experience, skills, or traits:1–4 years of professional experience working at or with real estate investment companies in a role that required underwriting and evaluating new investment opportunities.Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business administration, engineering or a related field.Significant real estate financial modeling experience, including a high degree of proficiency with pro forma and cash flow analysis.Detail oriented, organized, highly motivated and possesses a positive attitude.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work proactively, both independently and as a collaborative team player, with accountability of projects and deadlines.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and all MS Office applications. Proficiency in Argus and Adobe InDesign is a plus.Albanese’s Professional Development Commitment:
