Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with various communication and swallowing disorders. This role plays a crucial part in helping patients improve their speech and language skills. Responsibilities - Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans - Provide therapy to improve patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Keep detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes Requirements - Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology - Experience in early intervention and pediatric speech therapy is preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology related to speech pathology - Ability to work in diverse settings such as schools or healthcare facilities - Proficient in patient assessment and care - Excellent communication skills and empathy towards patients

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
