LOCATION SUMMARY:Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical and outpatient services. Locals enjoy weekly farmers markets in downtown Templeton, farm-to-fork dining, beautiful landscapes for hiking and biking, and beach days just fifteen minutes away at Cambria and Morro Bay.POSITION SUMMARY:Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. Coordinate, manage, provide and delegate patient care. Responsible for meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice, and promoting cooperation among the health care team. In addition, the Registered Nurse shall meet personal accountabilities as defined in the Tenet Target 100 standards of Service, People, Quality, Growth and Cost.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education and Work Experience:Graduate of a school of nursing: RequiredBasic computer skills: RequiredOne year of recent acute care RN experience: PreferredLicenses and Certifications:Current California RN license: RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association: RequiredNRP: Required within 6 months of new hire or transferNovice, or new to L&D RN’s will take the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring two day course during first 6-8 months of L&D orientation
