REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - OUTPATIENT CLINICS

REGISTERED NURSE The Department of Ambulatory Care at Jamaica Hospital provides patients with a full range of primary and specialty care services in an outpatient setting. The department operates a main on-campus center and 9 other modern and fully equipped medical locations conveniently located throughout Queens and East New York. We are currently seeking experienced BSN Level Registered Nurses with a minimum of 1 year of outpatient, ambulatory care, or Urgent care experience for immediate full-time clinical opportunities in both our Family Medicine & Women's Health group practices DUTIES As an Outpatient Clinic RN , you will work autonomously performing a variety of healthcare duties including: Assessing and evaluating patient care needs of pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement and evaluate the plan of care. Providing patient education. Completing, documenting, and updating electronic medical records. Assisting with the management of urgent and emergent patient care situations. Assisting with managing patients with multiple chronic health conditions, acute episodes of care, and behavioral health challenges. Tagged as: ambulatory, clinic, outpatient Requirements Our ideal candidate will have the following: BSN Degree Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State Current BLS Prior experience working as an RN in a fast-paced Outpatient setting MUST HAVE demonstrated experience working in either Women's Health or other outpatient setting. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
