Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Pay: $21/hr.
Location: Wilsonville
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6 am-2:30 pm, OT when needed.
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our team in a contract role. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and installing electrical components and sub-assemblies for automation equipment. #1939ST
Key Responsibilities:
Build and wire electrical assemblies according to schematics and drawingsCreate cable assemblies using crimping and soldering techniquesSolder simple PCB assembliesRun and groom cable assemblies on toolsConnect common PC cables (power, serial, Ethernet) to componentsPerform basic electrical troubleshooting (continuity and voltage checks)Assist in preparing equipment for power-down and cratingInspect incoming parts for quality and conformance to specificationsProvide feedback to technicians, engineers, and project managers
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent1-2 years of experience as an electrical assembler or technician (or equivalent combination of experience and training)Knowledge of basic AC/DC circuits and electrical symbolsProficiency in crimping, soldering, drilling & tapping, wire grooming, and mechanical assemblyAbility to read and interpret drawings and schematicsSkill in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instrumentsGood documentation and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentStrong safety awareness and understanding of shop practicesAbility to read, write, and understand English

Excellent electrical/electronic aptitudeGood time management and interpersonal skillsAbility to make accurate modifications and sketches
