Triad Manufacturing is seeking a Solid Surface Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling solid surface materials (e.g., Corian, staron) for countertops, tabletops, and other custom applications. Key Responsibilities:• Assemble and fabricate solid surface products based on blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications.• Cut, shape, and join solid surface materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.• Sand, polish, and finish assembled pieces to achieve smooth and precise surfaces.• Inspect materials for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the assembly process.• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in accordance with safety standards.• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.
Requirements:• Previous experience in solid surface fabrication, assembly, or a related field.• Proficiency in using tools and machinery designed for cutting, sanding, and polishing solid surfaces.• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.• Excellent attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.• Physical stamina, with the ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a workshop setting.
Preferred Qualifications:• Experience working with brands such as Corian, Avonite, or similar solid surface materials.• Familiarity with CNC machines or other automated fabrication equipment is a plus.
