Seeking an experienced Liquid Automation professional to join the eMolecules team in Newark, Delaware! The
Liquid Automation Engineer
role is responsible for liquid sample order fulfillment for our clients. This is a "hand's on" role that requires experience in programming automated and robotic equipment.
Fulfill client liquid sample order requests and preparing them for delivery to their destination in a manner that meets company standards.
Expert knowledge of Tecan Fluent, Tomtec Quadra, and Labcyte Echo or equivalent robotic liquid handling equipment
Demonstrates proficiency with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to coordinate client's incoming orders with laboratory operations and database integrations
Sealing, centrifuging, and unsealing microplates
Programming, setting up and operating liquid handling robotic workstations
Manual (hand) pipetting
Working with unknown compounds
Working with DMSO, MeOH, and TFA
Partner with other team members for proper utilization of equipment and resources to fulfill client requests
Data transfer between database and instruments
Collaborate with internal operational departments to ensure all client orders are fulfilled timely and in accordance with SOPs
Maintains a clean and safe working environment – including wiping down work area, thoroughly cleaning all utensils, restock supplies, sweep work station and remove all trash
