We are seeking a dynamic, driven, and detail-oriented Permanent Packaging National Accounts Sales Manager to join our thriving engineering team. This role is integral to our business and will have a significant impact on our company's growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key national accounts, driving sales, and developing strategic relationships with our major clients. This position requires a self-starter who can work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, and who has a proven track record in sales and account management.
Responsibilities:
As the Permanent Packaging National Accounts Sales Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in assigned national accounts.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
- Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals.
- Analyze trends and results to continually improve our sales strategy.
- Negotiate contracts and provide customers with proposals.
- Monitor competitors and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and professional association meetings; provide feedback and information on market trends.
- Develop and manage customer portfolios, maintain customer records, and prepare sales reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, specifically in key account management, key accounts, and national accounts.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
- Demonstrable experience in developing strategic client relationships.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Ability to travel as needed.
