We are seeking a dynamic, driven, and detail-oriented Permanent Packaging National Accounts Sales Manager to join our thriving engineering team. This role is integral to our business and will have a significant impact on our company's growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key national accounts, driving sales, and developing strategic relationships with our major clients. This position requires a self-starter who can work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, and who has a proven track record in sales and account management.

Responsibilities:

As the Permanent Packaging National Accounts Sales Manager, you will:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in assigned national accounts.
  2. Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
  3. Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals.
  4. Analyze trends and results to continually improve our sales strategy.
  5. Negotiate contracts and provide customers with proposals.
  6. Monitor competitors and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs.
  7. Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations.
  9. Attend trade shows, conferences, and professional association meetings; provide feedback and information on market trends.
  10. Develop and manage customer portfolios, maintain customer records, and prepare sales reports.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, specifically in key account management, key accounts, and national accounts.
  3. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  5. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  6. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  7. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
  8. Demonstrable experience in developing strategic client relationships.
  9. High level of integrity and work ethic.
  10. Ability to travel as needed.
