Job Details

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment in our facility. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be required to perform predictive and preventative maintenance on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing/Food Based environment and possess a strong mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns

and downtime.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems with machinery and equipment, and repair or replace defective parts as necessary.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to develop and implement maintenance strategies that will improve the overall efficiency and

reliability of our equipment.

  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing/Food Based environment, with a strong mechanical knowledge.
  • Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems with machinery and equipment.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency repairs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship training preferred.
