Job Details

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-driven Quality Engineer to join our team in ensuring the consistent quality and reliability of our automotive parts across global operations. This role involves collaborating closely with production branches in other countries to enhance both process and product quality. As a Quality Engineer, you will be integral in identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing corrective actions, and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with international production branches and cross-functional teams to establish and uphold stringent quality standards for automotive parts manufacturing.
  • Develop, implement, and refine quality control processes and protocols that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • When needed, conduct comprehensive evaluations of incoming products to verify compliance with specified standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality deviations, initiating effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) in collaboration with local and global teams.
  • Utilize statistical analysis tools and methodologies to monitor manufacturing processes, identify trends, and implement optimizations.
  • Coordinate and perform quality audits to ensure adherence to quality management systems and benchmarks.
  • Drive and champion continuous improvement projects aimed at elevating product quality, minimizing defects, and optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Engage proactively with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns, provide technical support, and cultivate robust relationships.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of quality processes, inspection records, and other pertinent quality assurance documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. A master's degree is advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably within the automotive industry or a related global manufacturing context.
  • Profound understanding of quality management methodologies, tools, and frameworks, such as Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, 8D, and statistical process control.
  • Familiarity with automotive industry quality standards and regulations, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, etc.
  • Proficiency in utilizing analytical tools for data interpretation and process refinement.
  • Exceptional problem-solving aptitude with demonstrated expertise in leading root cause analysis and deploying effective corrective actions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for seamless collaboration with diverse teams, presentation of findings, and engagement with global stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail coupled with an unwavering commitment to upholding quality standards.
  • Self-driven, organized, and adept at managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer) are a notable advantage.
