Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commercial Transactional Attorney to join our high-performing legal team. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support to our clients in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial properties. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in negotiating and drafting legal agreements, conducting legal research and analysis, and advising clients on various aspects of commercial real estate law. Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
- Represent lenders, developers, and investors in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and loan documents.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support decision-making and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the execution of commercial real estate transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of transactions.
- Stay updated on developments in commercial real estate law and industry trends to provide informed advice to clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate/Transactional Attorney.
- Proven experience representing lenders, developers, and investors in commercial real estate transactions.
- Strong background in commercial real estate law and familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience in conducting legal research and analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism and ethics, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical legal solutions to complex issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
