Salary: $120,000 - $175,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our thriving manufacturing business. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and drive financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in financial management within the manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, and project management. This role is pivotal in providing financial insights and recommendations to support our business growth and profitability.

The ideal FP&A Manager is someone who has expertise in strategy but is also tactical and can be in the weeds from a day-to-day perspective, as well as leadership. The FP&A Manager must also be very advanced in Excel, as well as financial models. The ideal FP&A Manager has a strong finance but also understanding of accounting to bridge the gap between the CFO and Controller within the organization. This is an important role, as this organization is growing tremendously and looking at succession planning / big picture when hiring.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial planning and analysis function, driving the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on business performance.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Lead the analysis and reporting of sales performance, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Manage capital expenses, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of resources.
• Oversee M&A analysis, providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic projects, providing financial expertise and guidance.
• Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors, providing insights to inform business strategy.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in analysis, forecasting, KPIs, M&A analysis, budgets, strategic planning, project management, and capital expenses.
• Experience in sales reporting and consumer goods is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information and complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive financial performance and business growth.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
