Our focus is on the improvement of the Greenville community. We focus on affordable housing and helping local businesses thrive. We're currently adding to our affordable housing team and hiring a HUD Program Manager to oversee the planning, management, and execution of various community development programs. This role involves coordinating day-to-day activities, managing program initiatives, and ensuring compliance with HUD and other funding guidelines.

Job Details

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management, public administration, or community development.
  • Strong expertise in HUD programs, grant administration, and community development funding.
  • Knowledge of zoning, site planning, and real estate development.

Day-to-day:

  • Develop and manage a multi-year plan and annual reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate data input and financial compliance.
  • Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders through reports and presentations.
  • Manage program budgets and ensure adherence to compliance guidelines, especially related to HUD.
  • Track and report on funding activities and explore opportunities for new grants focused on affordable housing and community improvement.
  • Work with local government officials, community partners, and planning teams to support redevelopment initiatives.
  • Lead or attend public hearings to engage with community stakeholders and ensure program visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant government and grant regulations.
  • Assist in the selection and management of contractors and vendors.
