Salary: $75,000 - $115,000 per year

Our focus is on the improvement of the Greenville community. We focus on affordable housing and helping local businesses thrive. We're currently adding to our affordable housing team and hiring a HUD Program Manager to oversee the planning, management, and execution of various community development programs. This role involves coordinating day-to-day activities, managing program initiatives, and ensuring compliance with HUD and other funding guidelines.

Job Details

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field
5+ years of experience in project/program management, public administration, or community development.
Strong expertise in HUD programs, grant administration, and community development funding.
Knowledge of zoning, site planning, and real estate development.

Day-to-day:

Develop and manage a multi-year plan and annual reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate data input and financial compliance.
Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Manage program budgets and ensure adherence to compliance guidelines, especially related to HUD.
Track and report on funding activities and explore opportunities for new grants focused on affordable housing and community improvement.
Work with local government officials, community partners, and planning teams to support redevelopment initiatives.
Lead or attend public hearings to engage with community stakeholders and ensure program visibility.
Ensure compliance with all relevant government and grant regulations.
Assist in the selection and management of contractors and vendors.
