We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Foreclosure Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in foreclosure and real estate law, with a specific focus on title review, purchase agreements, private lending, and deal structuring. This role requires a minimum of five years of experience in the legal industry and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze a high volume of residential and commercial foreclosure files.
- Conduct thorough title reviews, and handle any issues or discrepancies that arise.
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, ensuring all documents are legally sound and in the best interest of the client.
- Work closely with private lenders, managing all legal aspects of private lending transactions.
- Structure deals effectively, taking into account legal, financial, and business considerations.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal advice on foreclosure and real estate matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to manage foreclosure proceedings efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and adhere to all ethical standards of the legal profession.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in foreclosure and real estate law, ensuring all work is compliant with current laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience as a paralegal in the legal industry, with a strong focus on foreclosure and real estate law.
- Proven experience in title review, purchase agreements, private lending, and deal structuring.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. A paralegal certification is highly desirable.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex transactions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of files and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
- High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal solutions.
