Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Civil Land Development team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of innovative, high-profile projects that are transforming the built environment. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex civil engineering projects. This role is ideally suited to a strategic thinker with a passion for driving project success, a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, and a strong background in land development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Coordinate and direct project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines, and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Oversee all aspects of land development, including site planning, grading, utility design, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct risk management to minimize project risks and ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Promote and implement best practices in project management and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in civil project management, with a focus on land development.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale civil engineering projects.
- Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and methods, particularly as they relate to land development.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams towards successful project completion.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic approach to decision-making.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, as well as standard industry software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- A commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory standards.
