Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and licensed Physician Assistant to join our dynamic and growing healthcare team. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients with various medical conditions. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of patients and interpret medical histories.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries under the supervision of a physician.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, EKGs, and laboratory tests.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, including prescriptions for medications.
  • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding preventive care, medical conditions, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies regarding patient care and medical ethics.
  • Participate in continuous education, training, and professional development activities to maintain current knowledge and skills.
Job Details

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
  • National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a primary care setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, clinical medicine, and physical diagnosis.
  • Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) software and other healthcare IT systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for improving the health and well-being of patients.
  • Demonstrated experience in Healthcare Management.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
