Our dynamic and ever-evolving company is currently seeking a seasoned tax professional to fill the role of Permanent Tax Senior in our Finance division. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to be part of a team that is committed to excellence and growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance, planning, and strategy for various clients.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Tax Senior, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  1. Managing, supervising, and coordinating the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals.
  2. Conducting research on various tax matters; interpreting tax regulations; providing advice to clients regarding the tax impact of business strategies.
  3. Developing tax strategies that align with clients' business goals, in compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  4. Reviewing complex income tax returns to identify and resolve technical tax issues.
  5. Assisting with tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.
  6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance with these laws.
  7. Collaborating with team members to provide high-quality tax services.
  8. Providing leadership, training, and mentoring to junior staff members.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Tax Senior role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree in Taxation or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a big plus
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax role for public accounting
  3. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local income tax laws and regulations.
  4. Proficient in tax software and technology.
  5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  8. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. High level of integrity and professionalism.
