Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Budget Manager to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall budgeting process. You will be in charge of developing our financial plans and participating in critical decisions as a member of the executive management team. This role requires a significant understanding of financial planning, strategy, and results management.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement the company's budget, including the preparation, review, and analysis of budget reports.
  2. Evaluate the company's financial performance and propose corrective actions when necessary.
  3. Monitor all budgeting activities and ensure compliance with the company's financial policies and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with different department heads to create budget plans and forecasts.
  5. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  6. Provide financial advice to the executive management team for decision-making.
  7. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present them to the management team.
  8. Identify potential financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  9. Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems, procedures, and applications.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in budget management, financial analysis, or related role in the finance industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control principles.
  3. Proficient in financial software and databases.
  4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Solid understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  7. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
