As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring that our production lines and equipment are operating at peak efficiency. You will provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for a wide range of industrial machinery, tools, and equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your work will have a direct impact on our production capabilities and overall business success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
  2. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
  3. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
  4. Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
  5. Maintain or repair specialized equipment or machinery located in cafeterias, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices, or factories.
  6. Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
  7. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
  8. Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Proven experience as a maintenance technician with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  4. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
  5. Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles and equipment.
  6. Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics.
  7. Ability to read and understand complex electrical and mechanical prints.
  8. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  9. Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  10. Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
  11. Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  12. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
  13. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  14. Outstanding communication skills.
  15. Proficient in English; Knowledge of second language a huge plus.
  16. Proficient in problem-solving, punctual, detail-oriented, and reliable.
