Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Remote Finance & Administrative Assistant Consultant to join our team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in finance and administration, particularly in the context of government consulting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely, demonstrating exceptional organization and communication skills, and managing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Remote Finance & Administrative Assistant Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing and processing all financial documents, including invoices, expense reports, and travel expenses.
  2. Applying coding to invoices for proper record keeping and financial management.
  3. Reviewing and maintaining project files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Conducting close out reconciliation to ensure all financial records are accurate and complete.
  5. Providing administrative support for government consulting projects, including those funded by USAID and other USG entities.
  6. Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  7. Ensuring all tasks and projects are completed accurately and on time, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Consulting Remote Finance & Administrative Assistant Consultant role, you must possess the following:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance and administrative role, preferably within the government consulting sector.
  2. Proven experience with USAID funded global health or other USG funded projects.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in coding invoices, sending invoices, managing travel expenses, and creating expense reports.
  4. Strong record keeping skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  6. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  8. A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions.
