Our company is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is perfect for a highly motivated professional who is ready to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including month-end close, fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, P&L, and depreciation. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and submitted on time.
  2. Managing and maintaining the company's fixed asset register, including regular audits and reconciliation.
  3. Preparing and recording accruals and prepaids in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Analyzing Profit & Loss statements, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  5. Calculating and recording depreciation for all company assets.
  6. Collaborating with other finance team members to streamline and improve processes.
  7. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  8. Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  9. Participating in financial audits and providing necessary information to auditors.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Accountant position, candidates must possess the following:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the finance industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, particularly related to month-end close, fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, P&L, and depreciation.
  4. Excellent analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  5. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  6. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  8. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. A professional accounting certification (such as CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred but not required.
