Job DetailsThe Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
- Drafting discovery requests and responses, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and legal theories.
- Preparing and presenting cases in court, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in a manner that best serves their interests.
- Providing legal advice to clients and representing them in negotiations and disputes.
- Collaborating with our team of lawyers and paralegals to ensure effective case management.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation and case law relevant to commercial litigation.
The ideal candidate for the Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney position should possess the following:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Proven experience in drafting discovery requests and responses.
- Exceptional knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and trial advocacy skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- High level of professional ethics and integrity.
- Proficiency in legal research software and MS Office suite.
