Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide legal representation to clients facing commercial foreclosure proceedings.
  2. Conduct thorough legal research to gather all pertinent information related to each case.
  3. Prepare and present strong, persuasive arguments in court.
  4. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, contracts, and agreements.
  5. Guide clients through the foreclosure process, explaining their rights, options, and potential outcomes.
  6. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the successful resolution of cases.
  7. Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to commercial foreclosure.
  8. Provide legal advice to clients regarding commercial real estate transactions and disputes.
  9. Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
  10. Participate in business development activities to attract new clients.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Must be an active member in good standing of both the New York or New Jersey bars.
  3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial foreclosure law.
  4. Proven track record of successfully representing clients in commercial foreclosure cases.
  5. Excellent litigation skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  6. Strong legal research and writing skills.
  7. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  8. Proficiency in using legal research software and other legal technologies.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  11. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  12. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  13. Willingness to travel for court appearances and client meetings.
