Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Provide legal representation to clients facing commercial foreclosure proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research to gather all pertinent information related to each case.
- Prepare and present strong, persuasive arguments in court.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, contracts, and agreements.
- Guide clients through the foreclosure process, explaining their rights, options, and potential outcomes.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the successful resolution of cases.
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to commercial foreclosure.
- Provide legal advice to clients regarding commercial real estate transactions and disputes.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
- Participate in business development activities to attract new clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be an active member in good standing of both the New York or New Jersey bars.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial foreclosure law.
- Proven track record of successfully representing clients in commercial foreclosure cases.
- Excellent litigation skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research software and other legal technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for court appearances and client meetings.
