Salary: $75,000 - $125,000 per year

As a Finance Manager, you will be an integral part of our dynamic and fast-paced Private Equity (PE) firm. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior management and play a significant role in shaping the financial strategy of the firm. You will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and various other financial operations. Your work will directly impact the firm's financial performance and growth. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a private equity setting.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues including valuation, mergers and acquisitions, profitability analysis, etc.
  2. Manage the firm's financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
  3. Provide financial leadership and strategic guidance to senior management, including providing recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
  4. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying trends, variances, and potential areas of improvement.
  5. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, investors, and other stakeholders.
  6. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
  8. Participate in due diligence and financial analysis of potential investments.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a private equity setting.
  3. Strong expertise in financial modeling, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  4. Solid understanding of private equity, including valuation methods, deal structuring, and due diligence.
  5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex data into insightful and actionable information.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial audiences.
  7. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and influence senior management decisions.
  8. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  10. CFA or CPA certification is a plus.
